This notice is provided under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) to inform you (the “Data Principal”) about how Code Sport Studio Private Limited processes your personal data in connection with the website at codesport.studio and codesport.tech (the “Website”). It supplements our [Privacy Policy](01-privacy-policy.md).

Where we process personal data on behalf of a client (for example, athlete, official, or participant data within our platforms), our client is the Data Fiduciary and we act as a Data Processor under our agreement with that client. This notice concerns data for which we are the Data Fiduciary.
2. Personal data we process and the purposes

Name, organisation, role, email, phone/WhatsApp, message content (submitted via our contact / brief form, email, or phone) — To respond to your enquiry, discuss a possible engagement, and communicate with you
Technical and usage data (IP address, device/browser information, analytics) — To operate, secure, and improve the Website
Marketing preferences (where you opt in) — To send updates you have consented to receive
We process personal data only for these specified, lawful purposes and limit collection to what is necessary.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of:
- Your consent, which you give when you submit information or opt in; and/or
- Certain legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act and compliance with legal obligations.
Your consent is free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous, and is limited to the purposes stated above.
4. Your rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access information — obtain a summary of the personal data we process about you and the related processing activities.
- Correction and erasure — request correction, completion, updating, or erasure of your personal data.
- Grievance redressal — raise a grievance with us about how we handle your data.
- Nomination — nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

We will respond within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act and its rules. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may make a complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Your duties as a Data Principal
Under the DPDP Act, you are expected to provide accurate information, not impersonate another person, not suppress material information where required, and not register a false or frivolous grievance or complaint.
7. Retention and erasure
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by law. When the purpose is no longer being served and retention is not required by law, we will erase the personal data, unless you withdraw consent earlier.
8. Children and persons with disabilities
We do not process the personal data of children (individuals under 18) or of persons with a lawful guardian through the Website without verifiable consent of the parent or lawful guardian, as required by the DPDP Act. We do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children.
9. Sharing and transfers
We share personal data only with processors and parties described in our [Privacy Policy](01-privacy-policy.md), under appropriate safeguards. Any transfer of personal data outside India will be carried out in accordance with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.
10. Security and breach notification
We implement reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected Data Principals as required under the DPDP Act.
11. Availability and updates
This notice is available in English and, on request, in any language specified in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, as required by the DPDP Act. We may update this notice from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
